there are a but few players in the test XI that are also T20 superstars. Get your match12 for sydney and the rest can come home. There is but one other lever to pull here, shorten the T20 leagues. more double headers and less rest days. I know the players won't like it but surely it is not putting a round peg in a square hole.
Not sure you're allowed to have only 12 players for a Test match, these days. Still need a bunch of like-for-like Covid and concussion subs on standby! I guess they could be 'juniors'...
