I'm a huge fan of county cricket, Dave. 12 years ago the ECB feared it would be undermined to the point of ruin if there was an exodus of the big-name players to the IPL. Now the ECB is encouraging the best players to go there - and county cricket is doing as well, if not better than it was back then.
