By now even the most ‘removed’ readers of this column will have an understanding of the dynamics of Cricket South Africa’s current governance crisis, so I won’t waste too much time recapping.
I am not as eloquent, as Neil but I have watched cricket since I was fourteen, and now a photographer of this wonderful sport. I dont have many words for these members (that can be published) as they are not serving this wonderful sport, but greed and power for their own good. The amazing challenges this country has and we always stand together thru tough times.. What are we going to do.
The loss to this country not just the sport men, woman and the staff, groundman's( hundreds stand to loose their income) but tourism, hotels, other companies that all work around this sport.etc.. the list continues. What can the average person in South Africa who loves this game do?
Thank you as always. I’m totally in favour of an independent board and think the MC should be dissolved ASAP. I have one concern though and that is the definition of independent. What controls will exist to ensure that politicians or the usual gravy train mob can’t be elected and ultimately loot CSA. ? We’ve already seen that crowd starting to infiltrate WP rugby.
Manners - your work and your ability to relate it back to the public gives me hope amidst a very scary time for cricket in this country. Thank you for this and keep it up.

The CSA member's council seem to have a touch on reality stuck somewhere between a WG Grace cover drive and the timeless test.
