The majority of ‘committed’ South African cricket supporters (as opposed to the part-timers) are a delightful fusion of moaning critics and hoopla celebrators, occasionally at the same time. It appeared that the T20 series in Grenada was just such an occasion.
Tabraiz Sahmsi's bowling was incredible. As you say up against a big-hitting line-up. We still too dependent on QDK though. The matches were strange- the ball seemed to go soft quickly and pitch slow down.
Good insight. As a person who prefers test cricket, I only really watch T20 if the Proteas are playing. As in test cricket, often the games are more interesting with lower totals. As long as these lower totals are as a result of conditions breather than the ineptitude of one side. What about size of field? These can be vastly different between venues. Does this not also impact on fours and sixes?
