I'll drink a toast to your benefactor on your behalf. I'd forgotten about 'dry' Gujarat despite reporting on successive matches in Baroda and Ahmedabad in '96. I've done budget hotels in India - though not quite as downmarket as that one appeared to be - and I've done luxury (fortunately not at my own expense). Luxury is better.
