Hi Masonge, that was kind of my point. It's a nice theory that the 'less is more' principle might apply to Test cricket in the 'smaller' countries and that fans might appreciate it all the more for its scarecity. But I fear that may not be the case. The only thing which will keep the pulse of the Test game alive is the World Test Championship. And even that may be threatened if the 'big three' don't makr the final on a regular basis...

I imagine home Test matches will be even fewer. What are the chances this will result in interest growing and stadiums filling up due to the rarefied nature of the format, or will interest wane even more?

Indeed. Better spend as much time as you can watching Test cricket here while you can. Save money by avoiding the white ball game.
