It's the lack of transparency which is more irritating than the actual expense. I'm actually pleased that there were so many people involved in SA Cricket at Lord's. I looked at most of them and thought: "You deserve to be here." There were a few others who were parasitic hangers-on but they were in the minority. In some cases people were simply given tickets and had to take care of everything else. I 'think' the CEOs had to buy their own air-tickets. Others, Members Council etc - got the full package. Flight, hotel and expenses. But nobody will confirm anything. Such a culture of excess and mistrust which flourished in the previous regime. Shame...
